B.N. Rundell

Born into a family of seven sons, Bob was the youngest and by the accounts of his big brothers, the most spoiled.  His dad, Carl, a Navy veteran of the First World War, and his new bride, Amy, came to Colorado at the direction of a doctor that gave him one year to live due to his bout with Tuberculosis.  Over 25 years later when the seventh son was born, Bob’s dad was an established entrepreneur that instilled old fashioned values in all his children. With a ranch-style life, his brother’s set the example in rodeo but Bob was the only bull-rider. He also followed his father’s example and served in the Army as a paratrooper, meeting his bride to be shortly after returning to civilian life.  After their family started growing, he returned to college and graduated Summa Cum Laude and started their lives in the ministry as a Baptist Pastor and educator

Pastoring in Wyoming and Colorado gave the family opportunities to enjoy camping, fishing and hunting with their daughters still following a Christian example with their own families.   Bob and his wife have four daughters and eleven grandchildren.  After retiring from the ministry, he built a successful insurance agency, retired again and became active in their local church in the music ministry.  He enjoys playing the trombone in the church orchestra and is often a featured soloist.  But a few years into retirement and with special coaxing from his wife of 52 years, he started writing, an unrealized dream that had been harbored for years.  With his first book published in July of 2016, he now has 10 books in print and all have done very well with three number one Amazon bestsellers in their genre and all the others reaching the top ten.  His popular series, The Buckskin Chronicles, has been well received and is followed by many readers the world over.
