SUBMISSION INFORMATION

CKN Christian Publishing is currently accepting unsolicited manuscripts in Christian fiction and we want to see yours! If you have a manuscript you believe falls into the Christian genres that we are looking for, and you would like us to consider it for publication and worldwide marketing, please fill out the form at the bottom of the page, attach your manuscript, and submit it (all fields are required in order for the form to be accepted).

We are only looking for specific Christian Fiction genres. If your book doesn’t fall into one of these, please do not submit it at this time. Keep an eye out, though, as we do change up what we are looking for from time to time. The Christian Fiction genres we are looking for include…

  • Romance (all Christian sub-genres of romance)
  • Historical Fiction
  • Western (including romance and non-romance)
  • Amish
  • Mystery (all sub-genres, including cozy)
  • Post-apocalyptic
  • Thriller

We are particularly interested in series, not standalone novels.

We are no longer accepting non-fiction, devotionals, Bible study aids, Christian Living, memoirs, children’s books, or Young Adult titles.

If we at CKN decide to accept your manuscript, you will be paid monthly and within days of us receiving a check from the distributors. You will earn as much as 35% of the cover price while also receiving worldwide exposure for your efforts. CKN Christian Publishing covers all marketing and promotions for not only the book but for you as an author as well. Authors with multiple manuscripts and large social media followings will get further attention for their submissions.

Authors with rights to backlist titles are highly encouraged to contact us. While we thrive on seeing new books flourish, we still are excited to see a forgotten asset come back to life. Don’t worry if you no longer have the manuscripts – as long as we are able to find a paper copy of the titles, we will be able to move forward with publishing.

If you are under the age of 18, you are required to have parental approval to submit your manuscripts. You must have the permission stated on the first page of your manuscript, along with the name and contact information of your guardian.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept and publish everything we receive. If you do not receive a response within 90 days, it means we are unable to publish your work at this time. Please note that this is by no means a reflection of your work.

Working with CKN

  • What makes CKN a Christian Publisher?
CKN Christian Publishing started out as a small Christian promotion company and grew into something much larger. Now, as a publishing company, we strive to publish books that uphold our Christian faith and values. Our goal at CKN is to find and accept books that will help readers to rise and develop their understanding of God’s Word and to apply it more abundantly to their lives. We hope that in publishing a variety of Christian-based genres they will give readers the tools that support their journey with The Lord.
  • Do you only accept the Christian genre?
Currently, we are only accepting titles that incorporate the Christian faith. However, there are many sub-genres of the Christian genre. We want to have an all-encompassing selection of Christian titles to offer our readers. Some genres we will be accepting manuscripts for are: romance, historical, western, Amish, science-fiction, and mystery. We are currently focusing on publishing novels that bring Godly inspiration.
We DO NOT accept non-fiction, devotionals, Bible study aids, children’s books, etc.
  • If you accept my book, what will I be responsible for doing?
Once we accept your manuscript, we do the rest. We want to make sure you have the time and energy to focus on the most important part: writing the books. We will follow through with a marketing plan and promotion of not only your book but you as well!
  • What format does CKN publish their books in?
eBooks are at the core of our business, but we will also publish in Paperback when applicable. eBooks are currently the most popular and most convenient way to publish and read. The process is finalized much quicker and we are able to do so much more with eBooks, such as adding hyperlinks and additional promotions inside the book. However, we hope that print books never disappear, so if a book is successful, we will continue to publish the Paperback edition.
  • Do I have to market and promote my books myself?
No! Once we decide we want to work with you, we will also create a marketing plan. One of the most difficult parts about having a successful book is the marketing and promotions that go along with it. You can write the best book ever, but without promotions and marketing, the book will fail. We will use our website, mailing lists, social media, and other advertising outlets to get the word out and watch your book succeed. Not only will we promote your work, but you as an author as well.
  • How can I help promote my book?
Creating an online presence for yourself is crucial. The only way to attract readers is if they know who you are and that your work is out there. Although we will be promoting your work, you can help as much as you choose. Creating an author’s Facebook page, Amazon page, Goodreads page, and even interacting with Twitter followers can help immensely. Most recently, TikTok has become the “in” place to promote books.
  • If my book was published in the past, can I submit it with CKN?
Yes! We are more than willing to work with you if you have previously published work. We understand that sometimes decisions are made prematurely and do not do as well as you hoped, and we want to help. We enjoy seeing forgotten books come to life in a new and up-to-date way and watching the success. We will bring the book to life again with a new cover, marketing plan, and promotion of the book in the best way we can. We will also work with you if you have a back-list that you have received the rights to.
